Guide to OECD Education Statistics
INTRODUCTION
Updated annually, this database contains an up-to-date array of comparative education statistics and indicators from Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and non-OECD countries from 1985 onwards. It provides information on the human and financial resources invested in education, on access to, progression and completion of education, on how education and learning systems operate, and on the returns to educational investments.

- Adults' educational attainment distribution, by age group and gender
- Enrolment rate by age

Access to the OECD Education Statistics via UKDS Data Explorer is freely available to all.

The OECD Handbook for Internationally Comparative Education Statistics (PDF 2.68MB) provides the definitions and conventions used in the underlying data collections as well as the methodologies used to compile the published statistics and indicators derived from them.
